19th century ruler Chamarajendra Wodedevar, statues of Queen Victoria
and King Edward VII are located here.

Kariappa Memorial Park, laid out in 1996 is also one of the better
known gardens of the city. The 22 acre stretch is divided into six
parts, and contains a man-made waterfall along with a pond. The
monument of Kariappa is also erected in the middle of the park.
Another park that is,by all accounts, the most famous one is the Lal
Bagh. This garden is famous for the Glass House, whose architecture
is inspired by the Crystal Place of London. It is surrounded by trees
and natural beauty.
