A Day Out in Romantic Jaipur for Couples!

The city of Jaipur is known for its architecture which can be seen right from the stylish resort options that you will get here. You can start the day in this pink city by visiting Amber Fort which is more popularly known as the Amer fort. Built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh, this old building is made of red sandstones and marbles showcasing both Hindu and Muslim architectures. After a traditional lunch, your next stop can be the City Museum which has all the major chapters of the history of the State. Arms and armours, art gallery with paintings and sculptures, various textiles, this museum is a home of all. The collection of arms dates back to 15th century which is still preserved in an excellent condition. The last stop of the day would be Hawa Mahal which is yet again a perfect example of architecture and art. The five story building with several windows was built for the royal ladies to enjoy the processions and other activities while comfortably sitting behind the pink walls. The location of this monument is also perfect as it situates itself right at the centre of a busy business place.

After you are done with this tall building and a small museum inside it, drive to the lively Johri Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar to buy some souvenirs if you wish. A halt at a sweet shop to taste the traditional ‘ghewar’ made of butter is a must.
